EndoPalma is a microbial fertiliser specifically formulated for oil palm cultivation. It contains Trichoderma harzianum, a fungus known for its ability to antagonise endophytes against Ganoderma boninense, the pathogen causing basal stem rot disease in oil palms.
Additionally, EndoPalma includes Bacillus subtilis, which acts as a biocontrol agent, suppressing pathogenic fungi through chitinolytic enzymes and modifying the host plant environment with cellulolytic enzymes. This accelerates the decomposition of cellulose fibres from empty oil palm bunches, fostering a beneficial growing medium for Trichoderma Sp. and other helpful microorganisms.
Pseudomonas fluorescens in EndoPalma enhances macronutrient availability by dissolving phosphate and producing natural IAA growth hormone. Streptomyces thermovulgaris also contributes to this nutrient boost by fixing free nitrogen in the air and degrading environmental lignin pollutants.
Together, these components make EndoPalma a comprehensive solution for enhancing oil palm health and productivity.
