(Plasmodiophora brassicae)

  • Fungus pathogens are transmitted through growing media, attacking plant roots and causing disruption of water and nutrient absorption.
  • Infect plants from seeding or transplanting.

DAMAGE SYMPTOMS :

  • Plants wilt during the day, lack of water due to disturbed roots, but are refreshed at night until morning.
  • Plants become stunted and when they are pulled out, swollen roots look like tubers.
